Public Safety Dive Rescue Team Training
The police, fire, and rescue department public safety dive teams on Long Island need to be prepared for anything from snow & hurricanes to floods & ice flows, from sinking vessels to submerged vehicles, and rescues both above and below the water. We help train these brave first responders that keep our communities safe.
Public Safety Emergency Response Diving is challenging and rewarding. We are proud to work with these professionals. Our courses are taught to meet and exceed OSHA & NFPA Standards. Full-face Mask & Drysuit, PSD Underwater Operations as well as Tender, Supervisor, Evidence/Crime Scene Collection and Court Testimony Preparation are among our available certifications programs. All Scuba Network Public Safety Dive training operations are supervised by Dan Halloran, a PADI, ERDI and PSDS trained instructor and former Public Safety official.
From New York City to East Rockaway, Nesconset to Montauk, we train local dive teams to deal with emergencies in our local waterways. Public Safety Dive Services training system is a nationally recognized leader in emergency water rescue, and supported by certifications from Emergency Response Diving a division of International Training and the Public Safety Diver Program of the Professional Association of Dive Instructors.
